The Saf-T-Lite® story begins in 1962 when General Manufacturing first developed portable
fluorescent lighting for the automotive aftermarket. A revolutionary design, this advanced
lamp encased all the electrical components inside the light fixture itself, which was protected
by a hard outer tube and soft end caps. The cool operating design needed a brand name that
highlighted its ultimate feature — safety. That was the beginning of Saf-T-Lite.
Today, Saf-T-Lite has a complete line of portable LED work lights, machine lights, hazardous
location lights and cordless LED lights. We also offer a full range of power supply reels, including
integrated circuit breakers and GFCI outlets.

MEET THE TEAM
Matt Reiff
President
Starting with General Manufacturing in 2000, I have had the opportunity to work in all capacities of the
company. This has given me a well-rounded, realistic approach to our company’s core-competencies and
abilities to meet customer’s expectations. I currently involve myself in all aspects of Product Development
and Marketing and Sales. My background includes a B.S. in Marketing from I.U. (GO BIG RED!!). Beyond time spent building the company, my beautiful wife and our 7 kids find ourselves boating as much as time allows. If we could move our offices onto a boat, we would!
David Barton
Production Manager
I joined the General Manufacturing in May of 2021 after having spent 41 years in the baking industry. It
has been such an incredible experience working for a family-owned company whose members have quickly become an extension of my own family.
While not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, our 2 children, and our 5 grandchildren. I also enjoy lifting weights, riding my Harley Davidson motorcycle, and participating in my various Masonic organizations.
Melissa Reiff
Senior Finance Manager
I joined the team at General Manufacturing as Senior Finance Manager in March of 2018. Previously, I
worked in the Insurance industry as a Licensed Staff Agent for several years. I am proud to be building a
family-owned company that continues to manufacture American made products and employ hard-working, caring people that have become an extension of our family. Outside the office, Matt and I are the proud parents of seven wonderful kids, love boating, and traveling as time allows. The business keeps us busy, but we manage to fit in some sunshine and water!
DAN DALRYMPLE
Sales and Customer Service
My time at General Manufacturing started in 2007 and has included being a production supervisor
for several years, which enabled me to acquire an extensive knowledge of our products. This knowledge
has given me the foundation for my current job involving bills of materials and costing. While not at work I enjoy spending time with the family and going for an occasional jog. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that we are the light for your vision…not only shedding light on any and all situations, but
also teaming up with individuals and businesses to integrate our lighting and facilitate a brighter future for them as well!

Accounts Receivable and Receptionist
I have been the Receptionist since 2006. If you have called in, you most likely have spoken to me. Saf-TLite has been a great place to work and I look forward to several more years to come. Everyone is very passionate about the Saf-T-Lite products and the fact that it is all American made. I truly enjoy working with everyone here.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my 5 granddaughters and watching them play sports or just enjoying a relaxing day at home.

I started working for General Manufacturing in 16 years ago as the Buyer/Material Manger. Prior to this I worked in IT and Purchasing for 19 years with a rubber molding manufacturing company. I enjoy working for a small, family-owned manufacturing company where you get to know all the people working there.
